Guided Tours & Special Programs
Guided Tours:
John A. Miller offers several tours that relate to the Battle
of Monterey Pass. The standard guided tour is about two and a
half hours, however, individuals or groups may hire John for
longer periods of time, or for specialty tours based around
specific information tailored to suit your individual needs.
John's hourly rate is $25.00 an hour per person/family. Groups
of six or more individuals have a standard rate of $15.00 per

Special Programs:
Special programs include PowerPoint presentations, tours, and education
programs. Although not required, an honorarium is appreciated. If you would like to
have a member of the Friends group come to your organization to talk
about preservation efforts, please contact

community organization would like to have a program related to
the Civil War history of Monterey Pass and other areas, please
